At GRIRR, our child patients planted 15 trees to raise awareness of green spaces

GRIRR celebrated Mother’s Day by gifting flowers and cards to mothers. Some 84 mothers participated in the event, and many expressed that they had never experienced a celebration like this before

Some 272 children participated in an inclusive sports event organized by GRIRR on World Disability Day.

Ms. Sudipta Malik contributes birthday cakes for child patients each month. Many of these children come from families that ever celebrated birthdays; some were unaware that they even had one. This monthly event has helped celebrate the lives of these children.

LTIMindtree invited 150 of our child patients to an Inclusive Park, where it showcased their singing and dancing talents. The children and their mothers celebrated the day together.

The Watgunge Adolescent Improvement Association (WAIA) organized an annual marathon in which 60 child patients participated (22 children received first, second and third prizes).

Some 180 children with disabilities participated in indoor games. This event was aimed to raise awareness about their rights, education, and welfare.

Prominent Visitors

A team from this company visits GRIRR every three months to engage in indoor and outdoor activities with the children. These activities include drawing, arts and crafts, singing, dancing, sports, and games, providing the children with fun and motivation. The visitors counsel mothers and caregivers on the importance of rehabilitation services.

The CEO and members of this NGO engaged with children with disabilities and observed our service delivery. They expressed a desire to collaborate and enhance our impact.

Members visited GRIRR and donated two computers to train the youth of the community and GRIRR patients. They assumed the responsibility for 50 prizes in inclusive sports (celebrated on World Disability Day).
