“I am deeply grateful to GRIRR for the incredible role they have played in my life. Born with Cerebral Palsy, I once believed that walking might never be possible for me. My journey with GRIRR began when I was 10 years old, thanks to their outreach to help children with disabilities.
Since then, I have been receiving life-changing therapies from GRIRR, and through these years of treatment and two surgeries, I went from being unable to walk to now moving with the support of a crutch.
GRIRR has been more than a therapy centre; they have supported me emotionally and academically, believing in my potential when it felt like no one else did.
I currently work as a Customer Support Associate at Tech Mahindra, surrounded by supportive colleagues who never let my disability define me. I am striving to grow in my career here, with a goal of advancing to higher positions in the company.
On my days off, I go back to GRIRR, both for ongoing physiotherapy and to share my gratitude. Their guidance and belief in me transformed my life. I owe my strength to them. “

“As Ruhan’s mother, I remember the fear we felt when we first learned of his condition. Humey kuch bhi samaj nahi aa raha tha ke kya ho raha hai usko.
One of my relatives told me about GRIRR. For five months, Ruhan had to wear a plaster to relieve the tension in his ankle muscles. Little by little, we saw progress—his legs started straightening, and his muscles began to relax each day. GRIRR recommended a small corrective surgery. We trusted them implicitly.
When we saw his legs straighten for the first time—our tears of joy were endless. Yakeen nahi ho pa raha tha ke Ruhan sach mein thik ho gaya. Now, Ruhan is taking his first steps like other children. Metiaburz is one of the most vulnerable and economically backward locations with lack of access to even the most basic of healthcare facilities, so a disabled child is virtually a lost cause in such a locality. There is a vital need for Nazim and his team to work there.
For Nazim and his team this is beyond a job. It is their calling. They could have gotten much more money had they worked in some commercial establishment but they are ready to forego that for the sake of making a difference in the lives of these children.
